ENVIOUS LANDSCAPES was established in 2005 by Owner and Principal Designer, Glenn Clarke. Glenn is a qualified Landscape Designer and has been involved in the Landscape Industry since 2003.

Glenn’s vision for ENVIOUS LANDSCAPES is to design and bring to life inspirational landscapes that consistently exceed client expectations. His ability to understand his client’s needs, coupled with his creative flair and attention to detail, ensures that every project is delivered to these exacting standards.

The ENVIOUS LANDSCAPES installation teams (with a combined industry experience in excess of 20 years) are intentionally kept small, so that we can ensure consistent, personalised, high-quality project delivery.

ENVIOUS LANDSCAPES also aligns itself with businesses that share the same commitment to deliver high quality service and craftsmanship and, wherever possible, also share the same sustainability philosophies.

The word “sustainability” is often used as nothing more than a marketing gimmick! This isn’t the case with ENVIOUS LANDSCAPES… We are proud to say that we “walk the talk”!

• ENVIOUS LANDSCAPES is an endorsed Waterwise Landscaper, Waterwise Irrigator, Waterwise Garden Assessor and Netafim Drip Irrigation Specialist.
• We use
  • organic composts, mulches and fertilisers ( Bio-Organics.)
  • natural herbicides and pesticides ( Beat-A-Bug , Weedsafe ).
• Sustainable building products are promoted and used, such as:
  • Recycled Timbers - recycled decking and flooring ( Recycled Timber Co )
  • CorrectDeck – a recycled plastic and timber composite decking board.
  • Aerated Concrete Blocks – less energy and waste to produce, as compared to other concrete and clay-based building materials
• The majority of waste is sorted and sent to recycling facilities, to minimise the quantities sent to land-fill ( All Earth Group , Midland Brick , Instant Bins )
• All plastic pots are either returned for re-use or recycled ( Claw Environmental )
• All ENVIOUS LANDSCAPES' vehicles use "BP Ultimate" fuels, which reduce emissions and fossil-fuel use.
• ENVIOUS LANDSCAPES' vehicle, equipment and office use is carbon offset.
• ENVIOUS LANDSCAPES' office is powered by 100% renewable energy.
• Office paper ( Xerox ) is 100% recycled, and pre-printed stationery is printed on 100% recycled paper using vegetable inks ( The Environmental Printing Company ) .
• ENVIOUS LANDSCAPES "gives back" to the community by taking an active role in volunteering events (Clean Up , Bush Heritage ) and donating to environmental organisations ( Australian Wildlife Conservancy ) and giving sustainable and waterwise landscaping presentations (e.g. guest on RTR FM’s environmental program – " Understorey " and at Perth Green Drinks ).
